Get ready to embark on a flavour-packed journey to the heart of West Africa with our irresistible Red Red recipe!

Red Red

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of palm oil in a saucepan on low heat

  2. Add half an onion (chopped) an sweat for a few minutes.

  3. Add 180g RO’s Pepper Sauce with 200ml of water or fish stock and bring to the boil.

  4. Add 400g cooked black-eyed beans, leave to simmer for 10 mins.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Serve with fried plantain.


Also great for beans on toast.
